Suddenly it's mid-November and it's only five weeks till Christmas :) The silence in my blog doesn't mean that nothing exciting is going on, on the contrary, lots of craft projects are in progress but I can show them after Christmas.
But today I can show a new set which I finished few weeks ago. This cool cafe latte colored alpaca yarn comes from Canada and had to wait an entire year in the yarn basket before inspiration struck me :) Since there was just about enough material (128g) then the goal was to knit a nice hat. There was a bit yarn left so I bought a skein of vivid red Lano Gatto Nuovo Irlanda merino woolen yarn and knitted a matching ring scarf. The pattern is alternating knit and purl series.
Meanwhile I have been enjoying golden autumn, baking lots of different apple cakes and collecting nice ideas for Christmas :)
