Kuldsest suvest inspireerituna nikerdasin makrameetehnikas kaelakee, mille saatsin kingituseks Kanadasse.

We spent an early summer day by the sea and managed to take a picture of a white wagtail (Motacilla alba) and a black-headed gull (Larus ridibundus) - both very common in Estonia. In addition to the birds we also saw a moto-deltaplan and caught a romantic scene of a Tallink ship sailing right in front of the sun. And a lone sailboat.
Inspired by the golden summer I crafted a macrame necklace which I sent as a present to Canada. Now that the package has been delivered I dare to show the pictures of it. For better depiction of the making process I put the photos up chronologically. I used colored wax strings and glass beads as material, the idea comes from Maret magazine May 2013. I perfected the necklace by starching the string ends so they would not spread out. I plan to let my imagination fly and craft one for myself too.
